Lubinets reacted to another crime of the Russian occupiers

"Another war crime – the Russians executed an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war with a sword, whose hands were tied with tape," Lubinets noted.

"The level of barbarity and cruelty is impossible to comprehend. Such actions are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War," he emphasized.

As the ombudsman noted, he has sent letters to international organizations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the United Nations to document another human rights violation by Russia.

Lubinets also stressed that "such public executions are an attempt to demoralize Ukrainian society. However, witnessing such actions, we must become even more determined in our fight against the aggressor."
