The air defence forces shot down two missiles and 69 "Shaheds" during the night

As a result of an air battle on the night of September 28, two guided aviation missiles X-59/69 and 69 enemy Shahed-type strike UAVs were shot down.

This was reported by the Air Forces.

In addition to the 69 shot down, another drone headed towards Russia, and three more were locally lost on the territory of Ukraine.

It is specified that a total of 77 assets were launched by the Russian Federation:

• two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the occupied Crimea;
• two guided aviation missiles X-59/69 from the airspace of the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhya region;
• 73 Shahed-type strike UAVs from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol - RF, Cape Chauda - Crimea.

The air attack was repelled in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.
