Losses of the enemy: the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1470 occupiers, 42 armored fighting vehicles, and 99 pieces of special equipment

Russia continues to suffer losses in the war against Ukraine. On September 27, the Defence Forces neutralized 1,470 Russian invaders on the front line.

Dozens of units of military equipment and weapons were destroyed. Updated data on enemy losses were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Along with the 1,470 occupiers eliminated, Russia’s total combat losses in manpower since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amount to around 650,640 people.

Also, significant "demilitarization" continued: during the day, the Russians lost 278 units of military equipment and weaponry.

In particular, 14 enemy tanks were destroyed (8,860), 42 armored fighting vehicles (17,438), 55 artillery systems (18,733), four MLRS (1,203), 62 operational-tactical level UAVs (16,093), two cruise missiles (2,610), and 99 units of special equipment (3,291).

From February 24, 2022 to September 28, 2024, the enemy has lost 961 air defence systems, 369 military aircraft, 328 helicopters, 28 ships and boats, one submarine, and 25,411 units of automotive equipment and tank trucks.
