In Kyiv, explosions were heard
Explosions were heard in Kyiv late in the evening on October 6. Air defence is working against drones attacking the capital.
This is reported by the Telegram of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
"The air raid alert continues! Air defence is activated in the capital. Stay in shelters until the air threat is over!", said Serhiy Popko, head of the KCMA, at 23:27.
Before this, the authorities warned of the threat of UAVs for the capital. Therefore, Kyiv residents were urged to head to shelters.
Updated at 23:33: Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko also confirmed the actions of the air defense forces.
"Air defence forces are active in Kyiv. Enemy UAVs are entering the capital from different directions. Stay in shelters," he wrote.
