A member of the parliamentary committee on national security, Fedir Venislavskyi, does not see enough votes in parliament for the adoption of economic exemption and considers demands regarding military demobilization timelines a step towards the loss of statehood.

Venislavskyi stated this in an interview with Radio NV.

"As of today, I do not see that there is a sufficient number of votes in parliament to support such economic exemption. Because it creates another divide between those who have good jobs, who have money, and those who do not have such money," he noted.

At the same time, when asked whether the idea of economic exemption has already been "buried," Venislavskyi said: "I don’t think we have completely buried it. This is a very controversial issue. It directly correlates with those millions being earned through shadow schemes."
