Luxury cars, expensive houses, and valuable gifts: what BES officials declare
Recently, property declarations of officials have become increasingly important to society, especially in the field of combating economic crimes.
The leaders and deputies of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) have also come under scrutiny due to their elite apartments, expensive cars, and considerable wealth.
For instance, the family of Andriy Pashchuk, who is the deputy head of BES, declared ownership shares in six apartments, three land plots, two parking spaces in Kyiv, as well as a garden house in the village of Khotyanivka, Vyshhorod district. His wife owns three cars. Despite this, the family has relatively small amounts of cash. Meanwhile, in 2018, Pashchuk took out a loan from which he still needs to repay 5 million hryvnias.
Maksym Kuterha, another deputy director of BES, declared a house in the prestigious Bucha district and a luxury AUDI SQ7 car from 2021, as well as financial assets amounting to a little over 1.7 million hryvnias.
The head of the Kyiv branch of BES, Nazar Konstantynov, in 2023 became the owner of an apartment and three parking spaces with a total value of about 10 million hryvnias.
The head of BES in the Kyiv region, Vitaliy Perunin, received a gift of 900 thousand hryvnias from a relative.
Serhiy Yuldashev, head of the Vinnytsia branch of BES, together with his wife, declared six cars and a house with an area of over 440 square meters in the village of Velyki Dmytrovichi, 30 kilometers from Kyiv.
