Mass "mining" in Ukraine: most of the reports were received from Russian IP addresses

On Monday, October 14, the police handled over 2,000 bomb threats. Most of the reports came from Russian IP addresses.

This was reported by the National Police.

Law enforcement officers checked the locations that were reported as being mined yesterday. All of them turned out to be false alarms.

"Most of them came from Russian IP addresses. Over 2,000 calls were processed, mainly concerning threats against administrative buildings," the statement said.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for knowingly false reports of threats to citizens’ safety.
