Umyerov dismissed the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Defence Ihor Voronchenko, - media

Umyerov has suspended the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Defence, Ihor Voronchenko, reports MP Maryana Bezuhla.

She claims that this decision was made by the Minister of Defence "at the request of Commander Syrskyi."

Also, according to Bezuhla, Umyerov initiated the renaming of the Main Inspection to the General Inspection, "to trigger a chain of formal paperwork, the dismissal of dissenters, and the paralysis of the only oversight body."

"Now all investigations regarding the quality of basic military training, the downing of our aircraft by our air defense, financial abuses, etc., are suspended indefinitely," Bezuhla comments.
