In two weeks, the Government will prepare steps for the digitalization of the Military Medical Commission (MMC)

In Ukraine, there are plans to digitalize the military medical commissions. The corresponding steps will be prepared within two weeks.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to the department, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the OP Iryna Vereshchuk on the reform of medical and social expert commissions.

At the meeting, the Ministry of Health’s draft law on the reform of the disability status provision system and the liquidation of MSEC was discussed. This initiative will soon be considered by the Council.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health talked about implementing an assessment of daily functioning for determining disability. A plan for digitalizing this process was also proposed, which includes three stages. The first stage is set to begin on January 1.

Participants of the meeting also discussed reforming the military medical commissions by reducing bureaucracy and creating a transparent process for passing the MMС. This will help reduce queues and lessen the workload on the commissions.

"Within two weeks, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation will develop steps for the digitalization of the MMC," emphasized the OP.
