The European Union has extended the mandate of the military training mission for Ukraine by two years

Today the EU Council extended the term of the EU Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine) for the next two years and allocated additional funds for its operation.

This was reported by Ukrinform concerning information from the European Council.

«Today the EU Council decided to extend the mandate of the European Union Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine) for the next two years, until November 15, 2026, with funding of about 409 million euros for the period from November 14, 2024, to November 15, 2026», the message says.
