Occupiers are trying to encircle Kurakhove, - serviceman

In the Kurakhove direction, despite significant losses, the Russian army does not reduce the intensity of its assault operations and continues attacks in the area of Kostyantynivka, Katerynivka, Antonivka.

The situation in this sector of the front was described by the spokesperson of the 79th separate airborne assault regiment of the Tavria Brigade, Orest Drymalovskyi.

According to him, mechanized Russian offensives are taking place daily, with the occupiers actively using tanks and other armored vehicles.

The spokesperson of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade noted that the Russians are trying to penetrate as deeply as possible into the city of Kurakhove, creating "pincers."

"The occupiers are trying to cut off our logistical routes, intensifying the use of their strike drones and FPV drones, which are already effectively operating in the city of Kurakhove and its approaches," stated Drymalovskyi.

According to him, movement is challenging for both Ukrainian defenders and the occupiers.
