The Higher Anti-Corruption Court has seized the real estate of the Deputy Head of the Kyiv Main Department of the National Police, Taras Poliyenko, in connection with a civil lawsuit for asset confiscation filed by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
This decision was made by the HACC on November 18.
It is known that the SAPO filed a lawsuit for the civil confiscation of Poliyenko’s assets, as well as those of his father-in-law and mother-in-law, including an apartment in the "Zarichnyi" residential complex with a total area of 220.5 square meters and two parking spaces each with an area of 13.8 square meters, with a total value of 3.67 million UAH, as well as the income from their sale for nearly 5 million UAH. The prosecutor also requested to satisfy the application for securing the lawsuit by imposing a seizure on this real estate, as well as on other assets of the defendants that correspond to their value. This included a land plot with an area of 0.12 hectares in the Brovary district of Kyiv region and a residential house with a total area of 134.5 square meters.
“To satisfy the SAPO prosecutor’s application for securing the lawsuit in the civil lawsuit of the state of Ukraine against (Taras Poliyenko, Anatoliy and Valentyna Tkachenko – ed.) to recognize the assets as unjustified and confiscate them for the benefit of the state – satisfy. Impose a seizure on the assets that are the subject of the dispute...
