Ukrainians increased spending on new cars: 11.1 billion hryvnias in October

Ukrainians spent 11.1 billion UAH on purchasing new passenger cars. This is 12% more than last year and 3% more compared to the previous month.

This was reported by "Ukravtoprom".

About half of this amount was spent on cars of just five brands.

1. The most money was paid for premium-class German brand BMW cars – 1.374 billion UAH.

2. The second result is for TOYOTA, whose dealers earned 1.217 billion UAH.

3. In third place is MERCEDES-BENZ – 1.204 billion UAH.

4. VOLKSWAGEN received over 822 million UAH – fourth place.

5. Closing the top five of this ranking is RENAULT, which received 697 million UAH.

The top 10 brands of new cars that Ukrainians splurged on in October also included: AUDI, SKODA, PORSCHE, LAND ROVER, LEXUS.

Since the beginning of the year, new passenger cars have been sold in Ukraine totaling 104.2 billion UAH, 20% more than in the same period of 2023.
