In the capital, an alert was declared due to an attack by enemy UAVs

In the evening of December 1, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. This was due to the threat of enemy attacks using drones.

This was reported with reference to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).

The siren for the threat of enemy air attacks sounded in the capital around 21:50.

Local residents were advised to urgently head to shelters and stay there until the alert was over.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported detecting an enemy strike UAV in the Kyiv region moving towards the capital.

In addition, it became known about combat actions by sky defenders in the Kyiv region due to "Shaheds".

"A UAV has been spotted in the airspace. Air defense forces are working on the targets," said the statement by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KRMA) on Telegram.

Residents of the Kyiv region are asked to remain in shelters and observe the rules of information silence - not to record or publish the work of air defense online.
