The situation on the front: the enemy is conducting assaults near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, and Kolisnykivka

There have been 120 combat engagements on the front since the beginning of the day, December 2. Russian occupiers are most actively attacking in the Kurakhove direction.

This was reported by Facebook of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Near the settlements of Vovchansk and Starytsya in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defensive positions of our defenders six times since the beginning of the day, and two engagements are still ongoing. Russians also carried out airstrikes on Neskuchne and Kozacha Lopan, using eight guided aerial bombs.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted three assault operations near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, and Kolisnykivka. One engagement has ended, and two are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 13 times near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Cherneshchyna, Kopanky, Yampilivka, and Terny. Six enemy attacks have not yet been completed.

Our defenders repelled one attack in the Siversk direction near Bilohorivka.

The defence forces repelled three Russian assaults near Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked five times near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers made 16 attempts to dislodge our defenders from positions near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Dachenske, Zhovte, Chumatske, and Novyi Trud. The defense forces restrained the enemy’s pressure and repelled ten attacks, six engagements are still ongoing. Enemy losses are being clarified.

Today, in the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked 27 times near Berestky, Stari Terny, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dalnie, Katerynivka, Antonivka, and Hanivka. Fourteen engagements have concluded, and 13 are still continuing.

In the Vremivka direction, the occupiers attacked our troops’ positions eight times near Kostyantynopil, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka, Novoandrivka, Novosilka, and Novopil. Seven engagements are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Huliaipole area, using assault aviation.

In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct active operations.

"In other directions of the front, the situation has not undergone significant changes," added the General Staff.
