The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost control over the "Central" mine and its slag heaps in Toretsk, reports the Ukrainian military officer with the call sign "Muchnyi".

It should be noted that this site was one of the key defense nodes of the Ukrainian forces in the city.

Now, as "Muchnyi" writes, the Russians in Toretsk are trying to push the Ukrainian forces out of the areas to the west and northwest of the slag heaps.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "hold onto these remnants".

"The cost is very high, even for small areas of territory where fierce battles are taking place," added "Muchnyi".

He also reported that in Chasiv Yar, the Russian army advanced from the south both at the refractory plant and in the northern part of the "Pivnichnyi" district, "thus reaching its outskirts".

According to him, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the refractory plant are now trapped on three sides.
