The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrskyi, noted that the battles on the Pokrovsk direction are characterized by "exceptional brutality".

He reported this in his Facebook post, recounting his trip to the region.

«At the moment, battles continue on the Pokrovsk direction with the enemy, who predominantly surpasses in manpower… The battles are characterized by an exceptionally brutal nature», – the message said.

According to him, it is necessary to implement "non-standard solutions".

He emphasized that under such conditions, the main task is to strengthen the defence, in particular by providing the units with a sufficient amount of ammunition and their constant delivery.
