Zelenskyy’s Office issued new statements about the impossibility of peace negotiations with the Russian Federation at the moment. These statements were made by the head of the President’s Office Yermak and his advisor Podolyak.

"Real negotiations that will lead to a lasting peace will only start when the enemy’s resources for continuing the war are exhausted. Therefore, there is an incredibly large amount of work ahead," Yermak emphasized at the meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Lviv.

Podolyak, in turn, noted that "there is no possibility for negotiations" because "the positions of the parties are completely disproportionate."

According to him, Kyiv is currently ready to discuss only issues related to security guarantees.

"What could the negotiations be about? About international law - please. About the inviolability of territories - please. About security guarantees, for example, about the collective security architecture of Ukraine as a member of the Alliance - please. Or other formats of security guarantees to reliably protect not only the territory of Ukraine, but also the eastern group of countries from a possible RF expansion at stages 3-4 - please," Podolyak emphasized.
