What salaries do airport managers receive during a full-scale war, - media

The airspace of Ukraine has been closed since the full-scale invasion by Russia.

However, the directors of civilian airports, even those partially destroyed by missile strikes, continue to receive salaries. "Slovo i Dilo" researched their declarations and found out how much the airport directors earned in 2022 and 2023.

The General Director of the "Boryspil" airport, Oleksandr Dubrevskyi, declared just over 4 million hryvnias in salary for 2022, and for 2023 – 3 million 788 thousand hryvnias.

In an interview with TSN, Dubrevskyi stated that the airport, although closed, still ensures the technical readiness of its infrastructure objects and production technological systems, works on improving security, and maintains the qualification level of its personnel.

Some employees of the enterprise work in the usual mode with full duties. Training centers at the airports continue preparing specialists.

Kyiv (Zhulyany) airport director Oleksandr Nesterenko earned 693.2 thousand hryvnias in 2022, and 652.1 thousand in 2023.

The acting director of the airport in Zaporizhzhya, Oleksandr Konyakhin, received 1 million 64.2 thousand hryvnias in salary in 2022, and last year – 1 million 73.4 thousand.

The director of Lviv airport, Tetyana Romanovska, earned 906 thousand and 872.8 thousand hryvnias in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

The director of the airport in Kryvyi Rih, Ihor Lashin, declared 590.2 thousand and 703.1 thousand hryvnias in salary for two years of full-scale war.

Volodymyr Berko, who has been acting as the director of the airport in Mykolaiv since March 2023, declared 667.1 thousand hryvnias in salary.

The acting director of Uzhhorod airport, Vitaliy Pinich, declared 638.6 thousand hryvnias in salary for last year. He was appointed to the position in May.

The director of KP "Sumy Airport" Kostyantyn Karpovych declared 536.7 thousand hryvnias in salary for 2022 and 470.3 thousand for 2023.

The acting director of Odesa airport, Olha Makohonyuk, indicated in her declaration 476.4 thousand hryvnias in salary for 2022 and 434.4 thousand for 2023.

The head of the airport in Vinnytsia, Volodymyr Nitsenko, earned 323.4 thousand hryvnias and 378.1 thousand in 2022-2023.

The director of the destroyed Donetsk airport, which was destroyed ten years ago, continues to receive a salary: in 2022, Vladyslav Blyznyuk received 119.3 thousand hryvnias, and in 2023 – 309.2 thousand. Note that the KP “Donetsk International Airport named after S.S. Prokofyev” is currently registered in Slovyansk.

The director of the airport in Chernivtsi, Serhiy Tomnyuk, received 272 thousand and 284.8 thousand hryvnias in salary, the director of the airport in Khmelnytskyi, Valeriy Soroka – 270 thousand and 271.8 thousand, the acting director of the airport in Kherson, Ihor Zvanchuk – 99.2 thousand and 175.8 thousand, and the acting director of the airport in Izmail, Yuriy Radov – 94.7 thousand and 149.9 thousand.

The acting director of the airport in Ternopil, Volodymyr Kulak, declared 270.1 thousand hryvnias in salary for 2023, and the acting director of the airport in Poltava, Stanislav Lelyuk – 155.8 thousand.
