Russian troops are carrying out a massive attack on Kharkiv using ballistic missiles. Fires have broken out in the city, and the infrastructure has been damaged.

This is reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"Kharkiv is under intensive missile fire. A series of explosions have occurred in the city, and there are still ballistic missile launches headed towards the city. Stay in safe places," Terekhov writes.

As noted by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, the Russian army has carried out at least seven strikes.

"According to preliminary data, one of the hits was recorded in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv. Specialized services have been dispatched for inspection. Several fires have broken out following the enemy strikes, and civilian non-residential infrastructure has been affected," Syniehubov reports.

Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences. According to him, it is known that a 39-year-old civilian man was injured. Emergency medical services have hospitalized the victim.

The threat of repeated strikes remains.
