In Zakarpattia, border guards uncovered a cynical scheme for smuggling draft dodgers abroad. The organizers used a funeral procession with the alleged body of a fallen soldier to avoid inspections.

For such a "service," the smugglers demanded $18,000.

To create the illusion of authenticity, a flag emphasizing the mournful nature of the trip was even attached to the vehicle. However, the border guards managed to uncover this fraud.

During the arrest, one of the smugglers attempted to drive into the border guard unit, and ordered his "passengers" to immediately jump out of the vehicle, trying to evade responsibility. An investigation has been initiated, and all those involved in the criminal scheme will be brought to justice.
