The Cabinet of Ministers allowed the reservation of another category of Ukrainians

The government amended the relevant resolution.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowed the exemption of clergymen from mobilization, and religious organizations are now considered critically important.

The respective resolution was published on the website of the Government of Ukraine. All clergymen subject to military duty will be eligible for exemption according to the list of positions approved by the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.

Clergymen were also equated to the ultimate beneficial owners of critically important enterprises, members of supervisory boards, and employees of foreign diplomatic institutions.

The same resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine states that religious organizations meeting the list and criteria approved by the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience will be considered critically important. They were equated to representatives of donor institutions and executors of international technical assistance projects.

At the same time, the requirement for a "white" salary of 20,000 hryvnias for exemption will not apply to legal entities - religious organizations.
