The director of the state plant "Burevisnyk" is being investigated for illegal enrichment

The Kyiv police are investigating possible illegal enrichment and fraud by the director of the state enterprise "Kyiv State Plant ’Burevisnyk’" Oleksandr Plotnikov.

This became known from the criminal case under Art. 368-5, Part 5 Art. 190 of the Criminal Code.

The investigation began after law enforcement agencies discovered that Plotnikov might have been involved in property and other asset fraud. In particular, one of his apartments was initially privatized under another person’s name, then sold for 1.3 million hryvnias, and re-registered to the director’s father.

It was also established that the director’s father owns a Lamborghini Murcielago (2007), and his wife Olena owns a Mercedes-Benz CLS 220D (2020). This raises concerns in light of Plotnikov’s declared income, which amounted to only 751.5 thousand hryvnias over three years. During this entire period, he held the position of general director of the SE "Electronmash."

During a search at the official’s home, law enforcement also discovered undeclared watches: Breitling, Ulysse Nardin Automatic 200m, Hublot, Ulysse Nardin Automatique 300m.
