"ATESH": The Russian command in the Donetsk region ordered its military to use civilian vehicles

The commanders of the Russian occupying army are forcing the use of civilian transport for military purposes. Such an order was given to the artillery units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Donetsk region.

In addition, the invaders were prohibited from using military uniforms and identification marks. This was reported in Telegram by the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, "ATESH".

An agent of the movement from among the Russian servicemen in the Donetsk region confirmed that the invaders are being forced to disguise themselves as local residents. For this purpose, the enemy is using the transport of the local population.

According to the partisans, the Russian command ordered the transportation of ammunition in passenger cars, trailers, or minibuses, with a limit of 10 shells per transport.

"ATESH" noted that such actions by the Russians are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and the rules of warfare, as well as another crime by the Russian occupying forces.

Moreover, such actions by Putin’s army not only endanger the civilian population, but also serve as a tool for provocations aimed at accusing Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
