DeepState: Invaders have advanced in 8 settlements in the Donbas

Russian troops continue their offensive in Donbas. According to data from the DeepState analytical group, Russian forces have achieved success in 8 settlements in the Donetsk region.

Enemy forces have advanced in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk.

 

Moreover, the enemy’s advancement has been recorded in several villages of the Pokrovsk district in the Donetsk region: in Yantarne and Novovasylivka, near Yelyzavetivka, Zelenyi, Zvirove, and Kotlyne.

 

The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that Russian forces advanced in Chasiv Yar and northwest of Toretsk on January 12, but did not achieve any confirmed success.

The General Staff of Ukraine reported that on the Kramatorsk direction, 14 battles were recorded near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky. On the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces 11 times. The main thrust of the occupiers’ offensive was concentrated in the areas of Toretsk, Bila Hora, and Shcherbynivka.

The most tense situation was in the Pokrovsk direction: the Russians tried 50 times to break through the defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Promin, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novovasylivka, Sribne, Petropavlivka, Novoandriivka, and Dachne. Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk were constantly hit by GAB strikes.
