Commander of a Russian Armed Forces tank surrendered near Vovchansk

The commander of a tank of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation surrendered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Vovchansk direction. The occupier left his armored vehicle and headed towards the Ukrainian positions. This was reported on his Telegram channel by a lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Alex".

According to him, on the Vovchansk direction, a tank of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and 2 MT-LBs attacked Ukrainian positions on January 26. The MT-LBs were supposed to deploy a landing force, and the tank was to provide cover and fire support for the landing.

"However, thanks to the heroic actions of the commander of the Russian tank crew, who simply fled from the tank in the middle of the battle and came to surrender himself, his crew was destroyed by bombings, and the landing force was defeated even before they could think about any deployment," said "Alex".

He added that the commander of the Russian tank will definitely be awarded for his heroic actions.
