Russians want to bypass Pokrovsk from the west, — OSG "Khortytsia"

The main direction of Russia’s offensive in the Donbas remains Pokrovsk: the invaders aim to bypass the city from the west to disrupt the supply routes of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In Velyka Novosilka, as well as in the cities of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, street fighting continues, said Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the operational-strategic grouping of troops (OSG) "Khortytsia," during the broadcast of the "Yedyni Novyny" telethon.

"This is their main goal — to bypass Pokrovsk from the west. As a result, heavy fighting continues there, and Ukrainian forces are trying to stop them and prevent the encirclement of the city, as well as the disruption of logistical routes. The situation remains dynamic," noted the representative of OSG "Khortytsia".
