The executive director of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" lives for free in a service apartment of the NAAS

The General Director of SE "Forests of Ukraine", Ihor Lytsur, who is under suspicion of corruption, has been using a service apartment of NAAS in Kyiv for free, despite not having worked there for several years.

From December 2000 to November 2020, Lytsur worked at NAAS and the IEPSSD of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2020, he has been an official at SE "Forestry Innovation and Analytical Center," later becoming the acting director of SE "Forests of Ukraine" and held the position of executive director for half a year.

Since 2020, he and his family, which includes three children, have continued to live in the service apartment in Kyiv (70.1 sq.m), which belongs to NAAS. Meanwhile, already in 2023, the official had the opportunity to purchase housing, as his annual income amounted to 6.75 million hryvnias! Moreover, together with his wife, he managed to save 93 thousand dollars in cash, although their previous income was minimal. In 2021, he had only 10 thousand dollars in cash.

Earlier, he even had to take out a loan to purchase a Volkswagen Passat (2013), which he acquired in 2019 for 220 thousand hryvnias. Before that, he used his mother’s car, registered under the name Sofiya Lytsur.

Meanwhile, a land plot in the village of Knyazhychi measuring 598 sq.m disappeared from the official’s declaration. Lytsur also has been declaring a garden house in Zabirya, Kyiv region, and a land plot next to the house for several consecutive years.

His wife, Tetyana Lytsur, works as a teacher. Her income was approximately 300 thousand hryvnias annually.
