Latvia will provide Ukraine with another batch of drones
On Monday, February 3, an event will take place at the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia, located in Riga, where officials will announce the transfer of a batch of 100 drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by Delfi.
The event will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Anatoliy Kutsevol, and the head of the Ziedot.lv charity fund Ruta Dimanta.
A demonstration is also expected to take place during which one of the drones will be raised to a low altitude.
The charity project for purchasing drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a public initiative that involves fundraising on the Ziedot.lv platform.
The project initiators on the Ziedot.lv portal emphasize that Ukrainian military forces are in dire need of various types of drones – FPV drones, reconnaissance, and combat drones.
