The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation near Pokrovsk

Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk area are carrying out foot attacks and also attempting to break through to Ukrainian positions in vehicles.

This was reported by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Serhiy Tsekhotskyi during a telethon broadcast.

"The invaders are conducting foot assaults and trying to penetrate using passenger vehicles ’Niva’, UAZ, as well as buggies and motorcycles. They are tasked with reaching one of our positions, and they approach at maximum speed in 2-3 vehicles, disembark, and attempt to entrench themselves in abandoned dugouts. We have to spend the whole night driving them out," he said.

According to him, the situation in the Pokrovsk direction is difficult, and compared to previous weeks, the number of enemy attacks has decreased, but the intensity of assaults on settlements south of Pokrovsk, such as Kotlyne and Dachne, has increased.

"The enemy sends their maximum strength there, concentrating the maximum amount of strikes. The enemy’s goal is clear – to reach the Pokrovsk - Pavlohrad highway, secure their position there, and cut off logistics routes," Tsekhotskyi noted.
