The occupiers attacked Merefa with drones: critical facilities and warehouses were damaged
On February 10, the Russian army launched a powerful strike using attack drones on the Kharkiv region. In particular, the occupiers targeted the city of Merefa.
There are destructions there. This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
In Merefa, a critical infrastructure facility, enterprise buildings, private residential houses, outbuildings, a shop, and warehouses were damaged.
Fortunately, there are no casualties.
According to preliminary data, the Russian army used seven "Geran-2" UAVs for the attacks on the city,
informed the prosecutor’s office.
Currently, prosecutors and investigators are documenting another war crime by Russia. Pre-trial investigations have begun.
Furthermore, these are not the only shellings in the Kharkiv region throughout the day. The head of the RMA Serhiy Synehubov published a summary of the shellings in the region on February 10:
- At 14:50, Russians attacked the Izium district. A UAV hit a tree and damaged a private house.
- At 14:46 in the Kupiansk district, an impact of a "Molniya" UAV and an FPV drone was recorded. A car and the House of Culture were damaged there. At 13:19 and also at 9:50, two guided aerial bombs fell in open areas within the district.
