Zelenskyy: Without military support from the States, Ukraine will have little chance of survival
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that it would be extremely difficult for Ukraine to survive without military support from the United States. This applies both to the present time and the period after the end of the current war.
This was reported with reference to the interview with the head of state for NBC News.
"It is likely to be extremely, extremely difficult. And, of course, in all difficult situations you have a chance. But we will have few chances to survive without the support of the United States. I believe this is very important, critically important," Zelenskyy noted to the channel during the Munich Security Conference.
He emphasized that he does not even want to imagine fighting Russia without American support, and he does not want to think that Ukraine and the United States will not be strategic partners.
In addition, Zelenskyy noted that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is calling for negotiations not to end the war, but to reach a ceasefire agreement that would lift some sanctions and allow Russian troops to regroup.
