Kellogg: Putin should make territorial concessions and reduce the army
Within the framework of the peace agreement, Russia must make concessions, including territorial ones. There could also be a question of reducing the size of its armed forces.
At the same time, Washington believes that both sides, including Ukraine, should also make some concessions. This was stated by Keith Kellogg, the special representative of the US President for Ukraine and Russia, on February 15 at the Munich Security Conference.
Regarding the aggressor country, in his view, these should include territorial concessions. "And not only territorial. There could be a renunciation of the use of armed forces in the future, and possibly a reduction in personnel numbers," he said.
Kellogg reminded about Moscow’s alliances with Iran, North Korea, China, which did not exist a few years ago. "I believe it is very important that these alliances do not form," added the special representative of Donald Trump.
