Zelenskyy: Started working with Trump’s team, we feel success is possible

Ukraine has begun cooperation with the team of US President Donald Trump and believes that "success is possible."

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The head of state noted that the United States is currently relied upon worldwide as a force capable not only of stopping the war but also of helping to ensure sustainable peace after its end.

"We had a good phone conversation with President Trump on the eve of the Munich Conference, a substantial meeting with Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Pompeo. We are looking forward to General Kellogg’s visit to Ukraine soon for further analysis of the situation and finding ways for effective and genuine peacekeeping solutions from President Trump," said Zelenskyy.

The head of state noted that the Ukrainian and American teams are working on a special agreement between the countries, which will undoubtedly strengthen the USA and Ukraine.

"We aim for this to be successful just as we agreed," Zelenskyy emphasized.

He also noted "good meetings" with US senators and members of the House of Representatives.

"Of course, there will continue to be many various attempts by Putin to deceive everyone and prolong the war. However, true peace is possible. And we must achieve it: Ukraine, the United States, and Europe. This is our common security," the president stressed.
