The former president of Ukraine named this date in an interview with the publication "Censor".

"Write it down: October 26 of this year," Poroshenko said, responding to a question about when elections could be held in Ukraine.

According to him, he has this information from sources in the Office of the President, law enforcement agencies, as well as from sources at the printing plant "Ukraine," "where they are now determining how many ballots will be needed."

"According to our sources in the Central Election Commission, which is starting to make changes to the voter registry. According to our information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is opening its first office in Berlin exclusively for election preparation," noted Poroshenko.

"I believe that the elections will take place at the end of the year. What should they be related to? At the end of the year, according to the Constitution, parliamentary elections are planned. Although they should have happened two years ago. And at the end of October, we should have local elections. The authorities dream of holding all elections simultaneously. But the Americans do not allow this to happen. And now they are preparing everything to be left without opponents. And to return to power, destroying democracy, freedom, and the transparency of the election process. Because they are afraid to leave power," Poroshenko concluded.
