Fedir Shandor officially assumed the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary

The new Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary, Fedir Shandor, presented his credentials to the President of the country, Tamás Shujok.

The embassy reported his arrival in Budapest on February 24, and already on February 26, Shandor handed over the credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary.

The position of Ukrainian ambassador to Hungary had remained vacant for more than two years. Shandor’s appointment to this position took place in December. He is a professor at Uzhhorod National University and has also served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
