In Chasiv Yar, the military used a drone to guide civilians away from the frontline through minefields
The military evacuated civilians from the front line using a drone. The special operation involved leading people through dangerous areas that were mined.
This was reported by the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
In Chasiv Yar, the military of the 24th SMB named after King Danylo conducted a special operation to evacuate civilians. During a combat sortie, the pilots of the mechanized battalion detected a Russian invader trying to join another Russian assault group.
The invader was attacked by FPV drones, but he hid in a basement where two local residents were staying.
The soldiers were preparing to strike the basement with an explosive, but at the last moment, a woman and a man emerged from the ruins.
"The fighters couldn’t continue the operation and sent a drone with a loudspeaker to give instructions to the civilians," the military explained.
The drone guided the woman and the man through minefields, wild animals, and under the threat of enemy attacks. They covered over eight kilometers to the positions of the 24 brigade infantry.
"With the help of the voice from the drone, they were directed to the positions of the 24 brigade infantry and then evacuated to the nearest shelter," the brigade reported.
