Tymur Tkachenko is preparing a new session of his group Transparency and Accountability, now with the participation of journalists, where significantly more cases of the Kyiv city authorities ignoring data on corrupt procurements will be shown.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, has once again addressed the topic of violations and abuses in procurement in the capital. Last time, he noted that the city authorities reacted only in one out of every five cases reported by the Bureau of Economic Security. Now he has directly accused Vitaliy Klychko of ignoring information about violations.

Tymur Tkachenko wrote about this on his Facebook. He noted that he decided to find out why the recommendations of the Bureau of Economic Security are not being taken into account by the city authorities. This concerns statistics showing that detectives identified violations in more than 100 procurement procedures in Kyiv with a total value exceeding 8 billion UAH. The response, according to the head of Kyiv City Military Administration, occurred in 19% of cases.

"It turned out that the mayor and officials systematically ignore information about violations under any pretext," Tkachenko stated.

The official also provided a specific example — the procurement for the redevelopment of the production and warehouse base territory for the construction of residential buildings and warehouse facilities in the Solomyansky district in 2024. The total cost of work there amounted to over 1 billion UAH, a tender was held, a winner determined, and a contract signed. However, the Bureau of Economic Security conducted an audit and found violations — the winner did not meet the qualification requirements, and the cost of building materials was inflated.

"The Bureau of Economic Security immediately reports the violations to Mayor Vitaliy Klychko and the director of the Special Housing Fund. They, in response, assure that everything is strictly in accordance with the law. And if there are any remarks, then let the Bureau of Economic Security appeal to the State Audit Service. The State Audit Service conducted a procurement review and provided conclusions that there are violations, and the contracts should be terminated. What does the Special Housing Fund do? — It sues the State Audit Service," said Tkachenko about the "elegant" step taken by the city authorities.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration also reported receiving new facts of abuses from the Bureau of Economic Security. For their effective disclosure, he is preparing a session of the group "Transparency and Accountability" with the participation of journalists and online broadcasting. He says he has many more examples of "procurements" that violate the interests of Kyiv residents.
