Zelenskyy: There is a chance to force Russia to cease fire in the coming weeks or months

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that within the next few weeks or months, it is possible to pressure Russia into agreeing to a ceasefire.

He announced this during a conversation with the heads of territorial communities in Chernihiv region.

"Today, no matter how differently we perceive certain things, there are, of course, individual interests for Americans and Europeans. Naturally, when it comes to a swift ceasefire, we are all united. The issue lies in exerting pressure on the Russians to achieve this.

I think it’s possible to accomplish it in the coming weeks, possibly months; yes, it can vary. Sometimes it happens all at once. Especially with this part of ending the war. We believe the hot phase is a complete ceasefire," he noted.
