Deputy Mayor of Lviv Lyubomyr Zubach has declared a million-dollar salary for the third time

The Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Planning, Lyubomyr Zubach, has again earned a million hryvnias in office.

This is stated in his declaration for the year 2024.

Thus, working in the Lviv City Council, Lyubomyr Zubach received 1,149,516 UAH salary last year. This means approximately 95,000 UAH per month on average.

It should be emphasized, however, that this is an indicative average amount derived from the declared amount. The actual monthly salary may differ, as the salaries of officials in the Lviv City Council are formed by various allowances (for rank, years of service, high achievements at work, work with confidential documents, etc.). Officials also receive one-time financial assistance for health recovery and bonuses, which are also included in the total annual earnings.

However, this is not the first time that the Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Planning has officially earned a million. In more than five years in this position, Lyubomyr Zubach has officially declared a million salary three times already (in 2021, 2023, and in 2024).

The official’s real estate includes a share of an apartment and a land plot in Lviv. At the end of 2022, he became the owner of an apartment in Lviv (76.2 sq. m) worth 1.96 million UAH. Since last year, he also has a garage in free use.

Lyubomyr Zubach owns two cars: a Citroen C4 SX from 2006 and a Mazda CX-5 from 2019. His wife, Maryana Khodak, drives the latter.

Maryana Khodak, while working in the Department of Communal Property of the Lviv City Council, earned over 668,000 UAH last year. She also received 2,580 UAH one-time financial assistance for childbirth.

The official’s wife has land in Lviv, and in 2022-2023, she also purchased another plot here and two plots in the village of Derevach, Solonka community. Her unfinished utility building is also located in this village.

Lyubomyr Zubach holds a little over 168,000 UAH in bank accounts, 35,000 USD, and 360,000 UAH in cash.

His wife declared nearly 200,000 UAH and 20,000 USD in bank accounts, and 12,000 USD in cash.

It should be added that Lyubomyr Zubach was appointed as Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Planning in 2019. Before this, he was a Member of Parliament of Ukraine of the VIII convocation from the "Samopomich" party.

From 2006 to 2015, Zubach already worked in the Lviv City Council, including as an advisor to the mayor, deputy, and head of the "Council Secretariat" department.
