Trump hopes for a deal between Russia and Ukraine as early as next week

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed hope that Russia and Ukraine will "strike a deal" next week and start doing big business with the U.S.

Trump wrote about this on his social media Truth Social.

"I hope that Russia and Ukraine will strike a deal this week (in the U.S., the week begins on Sunday. – Ed.).

Both countries will start doing big business with the prosperous United States of America, and they will make fortunes!"

A few minutes prior, he also wrote: "The Golden Rule of negotiating and success: He who has the gold makes the rules." However, it is unknown whether this post relates to the subsequent message about Ukraine and Russia.
