"Can change a lot": Zelenskyy wants to see Trump at negotiations in Turkey

The head of state reacted to Trump’s statement that he might come to Istanbul for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. According to Zelenskyy, these are very important words.

The President of Ukraine reminded that he supported Trump in the idea of a complete and unconditional ceasefire for at least 30 days to provide a basis for diplomacy. Ukraine seeks this and is ready to ensure peace.

Zelenskyy also added that he supported Trump in the idea of direct negotiations with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He assured that he would be in Turkey and hopes that the Russians will not ignore the meeting.

"Of course, all of us in Ukraine would like President Trump to be there with us - at this meeting in Turkey. It is the right idea. We can change a lot," Zelenskyy noted.

He specified that President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan "can host the meeting at the highest level".
