Petro Poroshenko appeals against the NSDC sanctions: The court demanded evidence regarding the imposition of restrictions
The Cassation Administrative Court within the Supreme Court granted Poroshenko’s request for evidence from the President’s Office, which served as the basis for imposing sanctions against him.

The lawyer of the defendant, Ihor Kolomoiskyi, expressed the desire to join the case on the plaintiff’s side, in the status of a third party, and to represent her client. However, the court denied her request. The next hearing is scheduled for June 19 at 2:00 PM.
As it is known, on February 12, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted the decision of the National Security and Defence Council, which imposed sanctions against Petro Poroshenko, Ihor Kolomoiskyi, Hennadiy Boholyubov, Kostyantyn Zhevaho, and Viktor Medvedchuk. They are all accused of activities in the interests of the Russian Federation, and relevant cases have been initiated by law enforcement agencies.
Poroshenko, Boholyubov, Medvedchuk, Kolomoiskyi, and Zhevaho were banned from participating in privatization, leasing of state property, and increasing the authorized capital of enterprises, among other restrictions. They must also cease agreements, particularly in the security and defence sectors. The sanctions are indefinite.
As of February 28, it became known that Poroshenko’s lawyers filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court regarding the sanctions imposed against him. And on April 17, the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court of Ukraine dismissed Poroshenko’s request to suspend the decision of the National Security and Defence Council on sanctions.
