Voloshyn: Russians employed the tactic of massive assaults in the Novopavlivka direction

In the Novopavlivka direction, the invaders conducted massive assaults using armored vehicles.

This was reported by the spokesperson for the Southern Defence Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, on Facebook.

On Saturday, May 24, in the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces conducted massive assaults involving armored vehicles. In addition, the enemy increased the number of artillery attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and settlements near the line of combat clashes.

According to Voloshyn, throughout the day in the Novopavlivka direction, the Defence Forces repelled 30 Russian attacks near Novopil, Bahatyr, Vilne Pole, and Zelenyi Hai. On Novosilka alone, the enemy carried out 11 unsuccessful attacks using tanks and armored vehicles.

Additionally, it became known that in the Prydniprovske direction, Russian forces are conducting regrouping. The enemy conducts logistical, evacuation, and reconnaissance maneuvers to continue efforts to capture the island region of the Dnipro.
