The invaders attacked Kharkiv with drones and ballistic missiles: 6 injured

Russian occupation forces carried out drone and missile strikes on Kharkiv on the morning of June 2. As a result of these attacks, damage was recorded in several districts, with six residents of the city injured, including two children.

Relevant services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences. Detailed information about the enemy attack was shared by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of the regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov.

According to them, after 04:00 on Monday, powerful explosions were heard in the Shevchenkivsky district, and subsequently, enemy UAV strikes were recorded in the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv – a fire started.

Additionally, the strikes damaged a civil enterprise building, several private houses, and vehicles.

As a result of the UAV attack in the Kholodnohirsky district, six people were injured, including a seven-year-old boy and another child. All injured were provided with high-quality medical assistance.

At the same time, the aggressor used ballistic missiles against Kharkiv. According to the mayor, one of the Russian missiles struck near apartment buildings in the Kyiv district: windows were shattered, and facades were damaged. Another missile hit the road in the same district – just a few dozen meters from a school.

"Standing near this crater, you realize how different it could have been. A few more meters – and the strike would have hit the building. A few more minutes – and there would have been cars and buses on the road. It’s a real miracle that there were no casualties," – noted Terekhov.

He added that municipal services are working, and the road will definitely be restored. But the most important thing is that Kharkiv residents are alive.

"Take care of yourselves. And take care of each other," – added the city mayor.
