Sukharevskyi leaves the position of Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces due to differences with the leadership

The Commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadym Sukharevskyi announced the completion of his term. The reason was a difference in views on the further development of this branch of the military with the higher leadership.

He announced this in his official address, noting that he is proud to have had the honor of leading the UAV Forces during the first, most challenging year of their formation.

«At this stage, our visions for the further development of the UAV Forces do not coincide with the leadership’s. I consider it a professional and honest decision to end my term», – Sukharevskyi stated.

At the same time, Defence Minister Rustem Umyerov reported that Sukharevskyi will now hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Operational Command «East».
