"The punishment of God": a priest of the OCU called the missile strike on Kyiv a penalty for the LGBT march

Described the Russian shelling as "divine punishment." Ukrainian Orthodox Church priest Yaroslav Yasynets linked the missile strike on Kyiv to the LGBT rights march held the day before.

Under the image of a building destroyed by a missile in the Solomyanskyi district, he noted: "Here you have the ’equality’ march... Divine punishment is like that."

In the comments, Yasynets confirmed his opinion by referring to Christian teachings: "Read the Bible. There are many examples where natural disasters, wars, destruction of cities, and the killing of guilty and innocent occurred due to a departure from God’s commandments."

He added that if you reject the Bible, "soon you will live according to the Quran, like Europe. And there these issues are addressed even more strictly."

After many users criticized Yasynets, he hid or deleted the post. It is worth noting that from his other posts, it is evident that he participated in a parallel anti-LGBT event.
