After the UAV attacks in Tula, the defence enterprise stopped
According to the Russian opposition public, the operation of a defence enterprise in Tula has stopped after drone attacks.
According to their information, JSC "Design Bureau of Instrument Engineering named after Academician A. G. Shipunov" (KBP) in Tula, one of the leading defence enterprises in Russia that develops high-precision weapons, has temporarily ceased its activities due to several drone attacks.
It is specified that the first raid, involving five drones, took place on Wednesday, June 18. The attack resulted in damage to the building of an electrical substation, as well as three product warehouses and an administrative building. The fire spread over 400 square meters of the complex.
During the second attack, carried out on the night of Friday, June 20, one of the drones hit a hangar for loading finished products. According to media reports, the result was damage to the roof and walls, leading to the cessation of the enterprise’s operation.
No official information regarding this incident has been received.
