Nayev left the position of commander of the tactical group "Vuhledar"

Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev has left the position of commander of the tactical group "Vuhledar". This group was carrying out tasks in the Donetsk region.

This was reported on Facebook by Nayev.

"Based on the order of the General Staff, I have completed my tenure as the commander of the tactical group "Vuhledar". Along with the officers of the command body, we are leaving one of the hottest directions in Donetsk," he noted.

According to the lieutenant general, the execution of tasks in this area will be entrusted to one of the newly formed corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nayev also summarized his service in this position. He noted that during his tenure, 19,608 invaders were eliminated (9,692 killed and 9,916 wounded), 74 tanks, 138 armored vehicles, 316 artillery systems, and 1,296 units of automotive equipment were destroyed.

"Despite the numerical advantage of the enemy in manpower and equipment, we managed to improve the tactical situation five times, trap the enemy seven times, and destroy their equipment. And most importantly, we did not allow a breakthrough into Dnipropetrovsk region," Nayev wrote.

He added that the priority for him remains the life and health of the military personnel.

"I am convinced that victory should not be achieved with ’meat assaults,’ but with wisdom, precise calculation, ingenuity, and the rational use of every piece of equipment," added the lieutenant general.
