Russia has carried out airstrikes on Ukraine almost daily since the beginning of the year — Sybiha

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha reported that since the beginning of 2025, Russia has been conducting airstrikes on Ukraine almost daily — attacks were recorded on all but two days.

He stated this during a meeting with a delegation from the German Foreign Ministry, which is currently visiting Kyiv.

In response to the difficult security situation, representatives of the German foreign policy department announced their intention to intensify the search for additional opportunities to provide Ukraine with air defense systems.

This includes both the use of Germany’s internal resources and international coordination mechanisms with allies. Kyiv has repeatedly called on partners to provide more air defense means to protect critical infrastructure and the civilian population.
